CSA Membership – SOLD OUT

Registrations are SOLD OUT for our 2021 CSA membership!

Thank you to everyone who joined! For those who may have missed out, we will be at the St. Catharines Farmers Market in the Market Square on Saturdays this summer!

Whoa, whoa, whoa… what’s a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Basically, when you become a CSA member, you’re purchasing a share of what the farm produces that year, meaning you get a weekly supply of seasonal vegetables and greens from spring until fall.

By subscribing to a CSA, you provide your farmer with some early capital for purchasing seeds, equipment, and much more so that they can have everything ready for a successful growing season.

A CSA is a great opportunity to try new ingredients you’ve never considered using before, and the veggies that you do know will be varieties you can’t find at the grocery store. They’ll be fresher, tastier, packed with nutrients, and more beautiful on the plate.

How does it work?

When you subscribe to our CSA membership, you will receive a weekly box of veggies and greens between May/June and October/November, depending on the length of the growing season.

CSAs will be available for pickup on Saturdays from 10am to 12 noon. We’ve partnered with the fine folks at Little Chief & Co, who have been kind enough to provide us with a convenient pickup location at their rear entrance located at 14 Summer Street in St. Catharines.

For those who prefer the added convenience, Saturday deliveries are also available in St. Catharines/NOTL (small delivery fee applied).

Simply select from one of our plans below, register and make a payment (EMT preferred), and we’ll give you a week’s notice before the first week of service.

What happens if…?

  • If you miss a week because you’re away, just let us know and you can have someone else pick up your box for you that week. We do not carry over boxes.
  • We do not do substitutions, as it can become complicated during packing days. Locally grown food tastes a lot different from what you get at the grocery store, so who knows, maybe you’ll discover that you actually LOVE zucchini after all!
  • In the event of an emergency, or for personal reasons, we reserve the right to cancel a week of service. Knock on wood!

We have two box sizes available. The price is for the entire season and must be paid in full upon registration. We’re only accepting a limited number of members, so make sure to secure your box soon!
